hey there im new to the site, i have jus downloaded a few free games from the game section
where do i put them when i plug my BB up to my PC
like which file do i place them in for it to show up on my BB curve 8900?

would appreciate some help thank you

After downloading extract the file (I usually use the format. Zip and. Rar) ---> then run Desktop Manager (DM) and plug your BB into your PC ---> after your PIN is detected by the DM select the Application Loader and then after that all the applications on your BB will appear ---> click Browse on the right side down and navigate to the file that you extract this ---> click file.alx ---> then press next and allow the DM to install ---> completed, the file that you install will appear on your BB.

It is also possible that the file is an OTA -Over The Air Install which basically means you have to simply type the url into your blackberry browser and it will install. if the file ends in .jad or in some cases .jar then you know it is an OTA otherwise if it some sort of compressed .zip or. rar file it must be installed from the Desktop Manager

thanx guys this has helped, except a few games where the sounds are on but my buttons dont work for it so im confused lol

Well what you sometimes have to do in some of the games is actually hit the alt key then the shift key in order to put the keys in number mode, then the keys will become functional, give that one a try
